On September 16, 2020, founding partner Jim Francis delivered a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) presentation discussing class actions pertaining to the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Attorneys in most U.S. states must complete a minimum number of CLE credits in order to maintain their license to practice law. This presentation, produced by Strafford Publications, was in the form of a live webinar followed by an interactive question and answer session.
During his presentation, Mr. Francis noted that the FCRA protects the following primary interests with respect to consumer credit reporting:
