Woman Buying Car Wrongly Flagged as Terrorist

When a woman went to buy a car, an alert came up on her account indicating that she was on a list of suspected terrorists after the dealership went to check her credit report.

Her name was similar to a Colombian woman’s who was the actual suspect. What ensued was a long battle with the credit reporting agency to get things corrected. She hired Jim Francis as her attorney and sued TransUnion.
